An LTS Look at Grooms’ Gifts

There are so many amazingly intimate moments when it comes to photographing a wedding. BUT one of our favorites is the exchanging of gifts between the bride and groom.  We learn so much about the close relationships and wonderful creativity of our couples as they’re opening gifts from each other on the most important day of our lives.  The nerves fall away, and since it’s typically before the wedding, it’s the first REAL look into the love that they share.  If you’re an LTS bride and need a little inspiration for gifts for your groom, here are just a few sweet ideas from some of our very own Love Tree couples.

MELISSA + DAVID

While we know LTS groom, David, didn’t have cold feet on his big day, his bride, Melissa, took the time in the months leading up to the wedding to learn how to knit, making David his very own pair of warm, fuzzy socks. His other present was a hammer because of important advice that Melissa’s Grandpa always told the couple – “there’s nothing a hammer can’t fix.”

JULIE + KRIS

LTS couple, Julie and Kris, wanted to write their own vows, but as the months passed by, they realized they weren’t going to have enough time to finish them.  Instead, Julie put together a fun photo book, highlighting some of their favorite moments together along with personalized vows to go along with the pictures. Since they were also leaving on their honeymoon the next day, she gave Kris an engraved iPad downloaded with books, magazines, and apps, along with a video she recorded the night before their wedding, expressing to Kris her excitement for the upcoming day.

ASHLEY + CHRIS

LTS bride, Ashley, went above and beyond when it came to a personal gift for her groom, Chris. With Love Tree’s help, Ashley created a Bel Ange boudoir book, filled with gorgeous boudoir photos for her husband-to-be’s eyes only.  As you can tell from the pictures, Chris loved it!

While all of the gifts were very different, they did have one thing common – they were each so sentimental.  We, at Love Tree, won’t ever forget each of these special moments and feel so very privileged to have shared them with each of these lucky grooms.

Adding to the Love Tree Team : The Wonderful Julie Farmer

Our cup runneth over.

Love Tree Studios has seen tremendous blessings over the years. Every one of them has enabled us to reach new amazing goals. And some of them helped us in ways we didn’t even know were possible for us. In 2012 one of our blessings was nestled in booking one of our many beautiful weddings. When we met Julie & Kris we fell in love immediately!! Their hearts are beautiful and their love for each other is so very real. Their wedding day was the best day ever and we left knowing that we had gained a strong friendship with the two of them.

Fast forward a bit to an impromptu meeting with our beautiful bride that led to furthering our bond with her. With her belief in the potential of Love Tree Studios and her AMAZING skills we have combined our powers that be to further the plans for Love Tree Studios.

Without further ado we would like to introduce to you our Marketing/Research Specialist Extraordinaire, Mrs. Julie Farmer!! We have been blessed beyond measure with her presence and friendship and are so very thankful for the future of Love Tree Studios. Watch out world! The Love Tree Team is climbing high and  ready to move ahead with passion.

Thank you, Julie, for joining our team. We know that God has amazing plans and are blessed to have you a part of it all!

Man In The Ring : Midnight Choir ~ Columbia, Missouri Band Portrait Session

Over the years I’ve witnessed how amazing Columbia’s music scene is. We have unstoppable artists filtering through our ears year after year. Many of which are home grown. I’ve been tremendously blessed to have a front seat vantage point in viewing one such band over the years. And this weekend I spent a few moments collecting images for their current tour. Introducing the amazing Man In The Ring. Their following is relentless, their talent is untouchable, and their drive is powerful.  Their sound is an obvious indication that music is alive, doing well and moving forward.

So proud in every way to know you all!! The best is yet to come!!

love, j
