There are so many amazingly intimate moments when it comes to photographing a wedding. BUT one of our favorites is the exchanging of gifts between the bride and groom. We learn so much about the close relationships and wonderful creativity of our couples as they’re opening gifts from each other on the most important day of our lives. The nerves fall away, and since it’s typically before the wedding, it’s the first REAL look into the love that they share. If you’re an LTS bride and need a little inspiration for gifts for your groom, here are just a few sweet ideas from some of our very own Love Tree couples.
While we know LTS groom, David, didn’t have cold feet on his big day, his bride, Melissa, took the time in the months leading up to the wedding to learn how to knit, making David his very own pair of warm, fuzzy socks. His other present was a hammer because of important advice that Melissa’s Grandpa always told the couple – “there’s nothing a hammer can’t fix.”

LTS couple, Julie and Kris, wanted to write their own vows, but as the months passed by, they realized they weren’t going to have enough time to finish them. Instead, Julie put together a fun photo book, highlighting some of their favorite moments together along with personalized vows to go along with the pictures. Since they were also leaving on their honeymoon the next day, she gave Kris an engraved iPad downloaded with books, magazines, and apps, along with a video she recorded the night before their wedding, expressing to Kris her excitement for the upcoming day.

LTS bride, Ashley, went above and beyond when it came to a personal gift for her groom, Chris. With Love Tree’s help, Ashley created a Bel Ange boudoir book, filled with gorgeous boudoir photos for her husband-to-be’s eyes only. As you can tell from the pictures, Chris loved it!

While all of the gifts were very different, they did have one thing common – they were each so sentimental. We, at Love Tree, won’t ever forget each of these special moments and feel so very privileged to have shared them with each of these lucky grooms.
